Cabo Wabo

Apparently I am only going to be posting once a month...even when I actually have something to post about.

So a little over a month ago some of my favorite people and I went to Cabo for a fabulous vacation. It was slightly unfortunate timing with the swine flu, but at least the pool and restaurants weren't crowded :)

The first priorities when arriving in Mexico: bakery, tortillas, and tamales. Thank goodness for the nice members at church who told us where to go. The bakery was amazing and the tortillas....there aren't even words to describe. It was heaven on earth eating fresh tortillas and guac every day. We ate every single one of these tortillas.

Second favorite thing about Cabo....Lover's Beach. It's the most south point on the Baja Peninsula and where the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez meet. Of course the Pacific Ocean side was freezing and the tide crazy (it was called Divorce Beach). Lover's Beach was perfect except that we didn't find any lovers there waiting for us.

All the girls

Sunset

There was this crazy lady and her husband walking around during a fiesta taking pictures next to all the decorations. This went on for over an hour, so of course we felt the need to take our own. I think Brina most closely resembles her pose...she just needs some sunglasses.

This great restaurant we went to on the beach had these Mexican blankets sitting on the back of the chairs. I think all restaurants should have them. Siblings...anyone remember something like this being on the seats of our cars growing up?

Virgin, of course.

So fun. Love Mexico. A little jealous. PS. When are you coming back to the DC area for a visit?
