It always seems to happen....

I start each January off with a bang....posting regularly, uploading pictures, sharing fun travel adventures, and then the month of May rolls around and it all falls apart. This year I'm going to blame my absence on my house flooding, but I'm determined to provide more regular updates from now on. Especially when I have exciting news to share....which I happen to today and that is the reason for my post. I am officially headed back to the West coast!!! After many months and many circular paths pursued, I finally found the right one. I will still be working for Walmart, but will be based out of our Irvine, CA office.

Anyone who knows me well knows I'm not a huge fan of southern California and certainly never wanted to live there again. But that's the funny thing about the right path. It's never quite what you pictured in your head (nor comes when you expect it to). I found an adorable place to live in Huntington Beach and will move the end of September. I am SO excited to be closer to family and friends, within driving distance of my parents house, and minutes from the beach.

The last 3 years in Arkansas have been an incredible experience. Full of many ups and downs and worth every second. I will always be grateful for the time here. I learned a lot about myself, gained an appreciation for previously unrecognized blessings, and made many incredible friends who have changed my life. I hope to take a little of the Southern hospitality and Midwestern friendliness with me as I head back West.

The next few posts will be a highlight reel of some of my most memorable Arkansas moments as well as some summer fun. Hooray for the next chapter in life. And Go Cougs!!!
